MySexProfessor.com is a media company that produces text, video and photographic content related to sex, sexual health and relationships. We aim to help women and men learn how to have better sex and optimal sexual health and pleasure. Toward this goal, we want you to have top-notch information about sex, your body, other people’s bodies, communication, relationships, tips, tricks, techniques, gender, sexual orientation, sex research, health and wellness, and the latest and greatest sexual enhancement products. MySexProfessor.com was founded in 2007 by Debby Herbenick, PhD, MPH, a Research Scientist at the Center for Sexual Health Promotion at Indiana University, a sexual health educator at The Kinsey Institute and author of Because It Feels Good: A Woman’s Guide to Sexual Pleasure & Satisfaction. You can read more about Dr. Herbenick, Editor-in-Chief of MySexProfessor, in her bio.

From 2007 to August 2010, Dr. Herbenick was the sole blogger on MySexProfessor.com. As of August 2010, we’ve been fortunate to have additional bloggers join the team.

Every one of our bloggers brings a unique perspective and expertise to MySexProfessor.com. Our blogging team includes a sex research scientist/author/columnist, several graduate students (studying sex and/or gender through the lends of public health, folklore, or health promotion), undergraduate students who focus on sex and/or gender issues in their studies, sex educators, individuals who have or still do work at sex toy stores, sexual health and/or sexual rights activists and more.

Editor in Chief: Debby Herbenick, PhD, MPH is a Research Scientist at Indiana University, a sexual health educator at The Kinsey Institute, a widely read sex columnist and author of Because It Feels Good: A Woman’s Guide to Sexual Pleasure and Satisfaction.

- Sarah Elspeth Patterson is a Widener University Masters student in Human Sexuality Education, the editor of the Babeland blog as well as a Babeland sex educator. She lives and works in glorious NYC.
