I keep saying I’m going to make lists of very sad and very happy love songs. I haven’t done that yet but sometimes when I hear a certain song that seems to fit in one category or other other, I mentally bookmark it for that day. Today I heard this song, “We Had It All” – there’s one line in it that hit me out of nowhere. (And no, it’s not the line “we had it all” which reminds me of the Key Largo “just like Bogey and Bacall” song). I couldn’t find the Ray Charles version online so Keith Richards will have to do for now. Enjoy.
