My mom just published her first cookbook, Appetizing Appetizers from The Florida Keys. I am incredibly proud of her accomplishment. She has always been known among friends and family as an excellent cook. She reads cookbooks as though they are novels and is always toying around with new recipes at home. She is also particularly astute at figuring out what is in a dish. This past Mother’s Day, we ate at a wonderful brunch spot in DC and my crepes were some of the best I’d ever had. I couldn’t figure out what was in them so I passed a forkful to my mom who - without hesitation – said "orange zest" and she was right.

You’ll have tons of recipes for quick, easy appetizers that you can serve at home or bring to parties, potlucks or cookouts.
