Yesterday the “x” key on my laptop got stuck and would not type. Considering how rarely X is used (it is not the RSTLNE frequently chosen in Wheel of Fortune) it would not seem to be that big of a deal. It turns out that when your work relates to sex, it is a VERY big deal – try writing sex, sexual, sexy, XXX without it. Luckily I was able to un-stick the key and go on with my work.
