Hello Kitty Vibrator, anyone?

Often women and men ask me for advice on a good beginner’s vibrator. And while there are certainly many possibilities on the market, one of the more fun choices – and totally adorable – is the Hello Kitty vibrator (generally marketed more as a “massager” as Sanrio doesn’t exactly tout their presence in the vibrator industry).
The Hello Kitty vibrator is small, super cute and offers gentle vibration which is nice for those who either prefer more mild to moderate vibration or those who are new to using sex toys or vibrators. In case you’re wondering which part vibrates, it is indeed Hello Kitty herself and her little teddy bear.
The toy is powered by one standard AA battery, making it a good back-up vibrator if your primary toy takes two AA batteries and, upon scrounging your house for replacement batteries once they run out, you only find a single AA battery somewhere, like in a TV remote. (The Babeland web site says it takes two AA batteries but I can tell you, it only takes one). There is only one speed and the on/off switch is at the bottom.
Unlike many vibrators, this vibrator is pretty easy to clean. Being made of hard plastic, there’s likely no reason to worry about the various toxins found in many of the flexible “Jelly” toys. It’s also small enough (5 1/2 inches long) to not be intimidating for many first time vibrator users.
