HOWARD BROWN TO CLOSE WICKER PARK BROWN ELEPHANT RESALE SHOP
CHICAGO, IL—Howard Brown Health Center announced today that they will close the Brown Elephant Resale Shop in Wicker Park, effective July 27.
“We’re disappointed that the Wicker Park store did not perform to the standards of our three other locations,” stated Donald Rolfe, Brown Elephant Director of Development. “Though we had a loyal customer base and a dedicated staff in place, each Brown Elephant must also have a strong influx of donations. Unfortunately, that component did not materialize for us in Wicker Park.”
The store, located at 1459 N. Milwaukee Ave will continue to operate from 11am – 6pm daily until July 27. Three other Brown Elephant Shops, located at 3651 N. Halsted, 5401 N. Clark and 217 Harrison in Oak Park, will remain open and also operate from 11am – 6pm daily.
