Here are some photos from Chicago’s Gay Pride. If you have photos from a Pride parade in your area, send them to me - I just may post them! And if you have never been to a Pride parade and are curious, I strongly encourage you to go to one in the future. You don’t have to be gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender to go - it just helps to have an open mind, a fun spirit, and an enjoyment of embracing all of the interesting people around you.

This couple drew enormous applause along the parade route and brought a few happy tears to my eyes.
